Rules For Attestation

Attestation of Educational Certificates/Diplomas:

The Government of Pakistan has authorized IBCC to attest certificates/diplomas at secondary and higher secondary levels, awarded by all boards of secondary and higher secondary education and boards of technical education in Pakistan. IBCC also attests the diplomas / certificates of foreign qualification provided that these have already been equated into respective Pakistani qualification by IBCC.

Rules:
  1. Through IBCC Attestation Portal (attest.ibcc.edu.pk), register yourself, enter required information, create an appointment for walk-in or select the courier option.
  2. All SSCs, HSSCs, Diplomas, Shahadat-ul-Saanviat-ul-Aama, Shahadat-ul-Saanviat-ul-Khasa, marks Sheets, school leaving certificates, etc., should be verified from the issuing authority/board of secondary and higher secondary education/board of technical education concerned before submission to IBCC for attestation. IBCC will only attest those certificates that have been verified by the respective issuing authority. Verification should be enclosed in a sealed envelope from the relevant board and submitted with the application for certificate attestation, unless it is available online from the issuing authority. Verification forwarded by every board shall be valid for a period of six months from the date of issuance.
  3. Only certificates of private schools/colleges/institutions affiliated with a board of intermediate and secondary education, board of technical education, or registered with the directorate of education will be attested. The applicant must get the document verified from the respective BISEs, BTEs, and directorate of education, etc., before submitting it to IBCC where required proof of such affiliation or registration, such as a copy of affiliation/registration certificate/letter, must be provided.
  4. If the certificate is found genuine, meets all requirements of IBCC, BISEs, BTEs, government of Pakistan, respective institution(s), etc., in all respects, it will be attested and delivered on the same or next working day of the submission date.
  5. A copy of the SSC (Matriculation) Certificate with Marks Statement (if needed) must be submitted for attestation of the HSSC Certificate/Diploma.
  6. If there is a requirement for any further clarification or verification, certificate will be attested after verification and meeting the necessary requirements.
  7. If any certificate submitted to IBCC is found “fake/bogus” after verification by IBCC, it will be forfeited and will not be returned to the applicant. Necessary action / legal action under the Rules of IBCC will be taken against the applicant/holder of the certificate.
  8. Attestation of Original Certificates of SSC/HSSC/SLCs etc. is compulsory.
  9. A photocopy of the certificate will be attested after the attestation of its original certificate.
  10. Applicants from the provinces of Balochistan, KPK, Punjab, and Sindh will submit their certificates for attestation to the Regional Offices of IBCC located at all Provincial Headquarters, i.e., Quetta, Peshawar, Lahore/Bahawalpur and Karachi.
