IBCC Management Visits Oxford-AQA Facilities in Milton Keynes and Oxford

In a significant step towards enhancing educational standards and international qualifications in Pakistan, senior management from the Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) visited the facilities of OxfordAQA in Milton Keynes and Oxford. The visit aimed to discuss the operations of Oxford-AQA recognition of their qualifications in Pakistan.

OxfordAQA is a partnership between Oxford University Press and AQA, offering international GCSEs, A-levels, and other qualifications. Known for their academic rigor and comprehensive support for teachers and students, OxfordAQA qualifications are designed to prepare students for success in a globalized world.

The delegation from IBCC, led by Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director, was warmly received by the executive team at OxfordAQA. During the visit, the IBCC team was provided with an in-depth overview of OxfordAQA’s rigorous academic standards, innovative assessment methods, and their commitment to delivering high-quality education worldwide. An extensive tour of OxfordAQA’s state-of-the-art facilities highlighted their advanced technological infrastructure and quality assurance processes, ensuring the highest standards of exam integrity and delivery.

Detailed presentations and interactive sessions provided the IBCC team with a comprehensive understanding of the OxfordAQA qualification framework. Emphasis was placed on how these qualifications align with international standards and the potential benefits for Pakistani students.
Both parties expressed a keen interest in fostering a long-term partnership. Discussions included potential joint initiatives aimed at capacity building, educational research, and the development of customized qualifications to meet the specific needs of Pakistani students.
