- The certificates, diplomas, mark sheets, and result cards issued by recognized Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Boards of Technical Education (BISEs/BTE) are only attested.
- The certificate, diploma, marks sheet, or result card must be verified by the issuing authority before submitting it to IBCC for attestation. Therefore apply to the respective Board for verification before applying for attestation.
- The School Leaving Certificates (SLC) upto class 8 of schools/institutions affiliated with a BISE, BEW, or registered with the relevant Directorate of Education will be attested. The SLC must be verified by the respective CEO/DEO of directorate of education, before submitting it to IBCC. The proof of valid affiliation or registration, such as a copy of affiliation/registration certificate/letter, must be provided with application.
- A copy of the SSC (Matriculation) Certificate with Marks Statement (if needed) must be submitted for attestation of the HSSC Certificate/Diploma.
- If needed, the certificate will be referred to the issuing authority for confirmation as per records and will be attested after receipt of confirmation.
- The certificate found “fake/bogus” will be forfeited and will not be returned to the applicant. Necessary action under the Rules of IBCC will be taken against the applicant/holder of the certificate.
- A photocopy of the certificate will be attested after the attestation of its original certificate. However, the student may apply for attestation if the certificate is already attested.
- The verification of each board is valid for a period of six months from the date of issuance.
- The students who have certificates, diplomas, or marks sheets attested before 2010 are required to submit fresh verification from the concerned issuing board.
