Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC)
The Inter Boards Coordination Commission, formerly known as Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, is structured to act and deal with the standardization of examinations, assessments, evaluations and allied mandates connected to secondary and higher secondary education through coordination, along with the recognition of local and foreign qualifications.
The IBCC was established as a federal organization in 1972 with the directive to facilitate the exchange of information among member boards regarding all aspects of secondary and higher secondary education. Its primary objectives are to ensure a fair measure of uniformity in academic evaluation and curricular standards and to foster curricular and co-curricular activities across different boards. The IBCC functions as a forum for discussion and consultation for the chief executives of the boards on all matters related to the development and promotion of secondary and higher secondary education within Pakistan.
